About the Baker

Hi! I’m Erica Villanueva, the baker behind the business. I currently run a one-woman show here at Desert Villa Bakery. This sweet establishment’s name is a personal testament to my love for the Coachella Valley. I started baking for my self in 2017 and took on my first paying client in 2018. The entire design process is what really sparked my interest in cakes. Since COVID-19 has kept me home with my kids, I’ve really pushed to grow my hobby into a successful business.
